FAQ

  • In this context, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is sometimes called EFT Tapping to differentiate it from other tapping protocols as well as other uses of the acronym.

In other contexts, EFT stands for Emotionally Focused Therapy, a psychotherapy approach pioneered by Sue Johnson which emphasizes the science of adult attachment. Look up her work or the ICEEFT to learn more… but don’t confuse it with EFT Tapping!

In yet another context, EFT stands for Escape from Tarkov, a video game. If you are a gamer who somehow found your way here, you are very welcome. (And, FYI, I am a fan of Dr. K’s Healthy Gamer work.)

  • Of course I cannot speak for all religions. But it is highly likely that the emotional releases you seek are in alignment with the teachings of your faith. If you or your pastor has any concerns at all, please feel free to ask questions by contact or in a free 30-minute consultation.

EFT Tapping requires neither belief nor disbelief; it is agnostic regarding religion.

As a tapping coach, I have worked with clients who are active in at least five different faiths, as well as clients who do not practice any religion.

The subject really does not come up unless there is an tapping issue that is related to the client’s faith, faith community, or history with the faith.
